Last week we focused on the visionary. This week is for the integrators. Having a strong relationship between the visionary and the integrator is critical. The integrator is the one that sets the dreams into motion. They work harmoniously with the visionary to control the major functions of a business. Integrators keep the trains running on time and on the tracks. Integrators are the steady force of accountability and alignment. Every visionary needs an integrator to be their right hand. Finding that person could be the hardest point.

One of the major keys to remaining on the same page with the same goals in mind, showing respect for one another. The books suggested having a “Same Page” meeting at least once a month. Make it 2-4 hours, outside of the office environment. Asking questions like, how are you doing? What’s your state of mind? What sort of personal and business challenges are you having? During this meeting, you should expose a list of issues and concerns or areas of disconnects. Identify and discuss the issues and figure out a solution to remain on the same page and keep the company strong.
