All have good freeway access to Loop 101, I-17 and SR-51 and are located just minutes from popular dining and entertainment destinations like Desert Ridge Market Place, The Shops at Norterra and Anthem Outlets. Many of the homes are situated in the picturesque high Sonoran desert terrain of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.
Many home buyers are choosing the newer communities in the area that offer a wide variety of amenities to its residents. Fireside at Norterra, Desert Ridge, Anthem and Tramanto have large community recreation centers that include pools/spas, fitness centers, game rooms and miles of biking and walking trails throughout the community. On the western edge of this area is the popular community of Stetson Valley. These family friendly neighborhoods are filled with parks, greenbelts, beautiful mountain views and have easy access to miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Stetson is located at the base of Deem Hills Recreation area. Along with playgrounds, basketball courts and soccer fields the area showcases 360 degree mountain views with vegetation such as saguaros, barrel cacti, ocotillo, palo verde trees, creosote, and buckhorn cholla.
Home buyers can find a wide range of single family homes and upscale condominiums. North Phoenix does offer lower end condos priced below $100k and lower end homes in the $150k range. However, the majority of homes are priced between $200k - $500k. There are plenty of larger homes in gated communities or on the golf course with resort style backyards and spectacular mountain views. These homes are in the $500k - $750k range.
Many of the homes in North Phoenix are located in the Deer Valley or Paradise Valley School Districts and include top schools like Sunset Ridge, Boulder Creek, Desert Trails and Diamond Canyon Elementary schools. High Schools include Sandra Day O’Connor, Pinnacle and Barry Goldwater.
